There are two kinds of corrosion :  chemical corrosion and  electrochemical corrosion. For the valve, the following methods will be suitable for protection:

1. Choose the right material. For example: if the medium isdilute sulphuric acid, lead is OK;  if the medium is concentrated sulfuric acid, steel is OK.
2. Adopt the nonmetal valve.
3. Lining. We can line such as rubber,lead for the protection.
4. Mix the corrosion inhibitor.
